Old Troy Road Construction Project - Update

Over the last two weeks the utility relocates were completed on the north end, allowing the contractor to finish preparing that section for new pavement. Last Thursday and Friday the east half of the first stage was poured as well as the Mont Road tie in.

Looking forward, we will open the Mont Road intersection to traffic this Thursday, August 2nd. The Maple Grove Road box culvert replacement has also been completed at this time.

PLEASE NOTE THAT STAGE 2 CONSTRUCTION HAS CHANGED SLIGHTLY due to time constraints. See attached revised staging exhibit.

Emergency Services: As the Contractor moves into revised Stage 2A construction, access to the residents on the far north end will be from the north via the new pavement. Access to residents within stage 2A limits will be from the south via Glen Crossing and IL 162. There will be two temporary roads built on either side of the proposed pavement for access to the Rinkel farm (east) and the Lingle farm (west). Stage 2B will not be touched until 2A is complete, so existing pavement can be used.

Anticipate completion date in January 1, 2020 weather permitting. The Village has been in contact with all jurisdiction involved. Information on the actual road closure dates and times of the construction and road closure will be on the Village Web site and Police Department Web Site or calling Jamie Bowden,Village Administrator or Jennifer Doody, P.E., Public Works Director at 288-1200.
