  • Referendum Facts:
  • Bond Proceeds would be Limited to Street Improvements.
  • 2019 Street Study:
  • Established an Average Overall Pavement Condition Index Rating for Village Streets at a 69 on a scale of 100.
  • $20M Cost Estimate to Increase Overall Rating to “Good Condition”.
  • Established a Priority List of Improvements Based on Numerous Variables – to be Reevaluated Annually.
  • Impact on Property Taxes:
  • A 2003 Bond Issue is currently Paid by Property Taxes.
  • Property w/ Market Value of $200,000 pays approximately $86 Annually
  • Repayment of the 2003 Bond is Completed in 2023.
  • The New Street Bond Issue would be paid by Property Taxes.
  • New Bond Levy Rate expected to be Similar to the 2003 Bond Levy Rate.
  • Property w/ Market Value of $200,000 estimated to pay $86 Annually.
  • Repayment of the New Bond would Replace Payment of the 2003 Bond.
